More from MLB Trade Rumors

Just because the deadline is under an hour away doesn’t mean that we’re going to see teams not start to get involved in the 11th hour to land a top player on the market, and that’s where the New York Yankees are at the moment as the team has gotten in on the David Price trade rumors.

According to Bob Nightengale, the Yankees are involved with talks but it’s unclear just how serious they are about the deal.

To counter, Ken Rosenthal reports that while the Yankees might be involved, there’s not a very good chance that they’re going to land him before the deadline passes.

The Yankees might be getting in a little too late on the Price rumors, but there is a report from Joel Shurman that states three teams could be involved in the Price trade, which m ay be what New York’s involvement in the trade could be.
