The MLB Trade Deadline is almost here and that means the 11th hour will be filled with plenty of last minute speculation and wheeling and dealing by teams trying to make something happen at the last possible minute.

More from Los Angeles Dodgers

One name that has been around trade talks for quite some time has been Tampa Bay Rays ace David Price, who has been looked at as one of the best possible trade chips out there and now sits as such with Jon Lester off the market and in Oakland. According to Jim Bowden from ESPN, the Los Angeles Dodger and Seattle Mariners are the two teams in the lead to make a last minute David Price trade.

Neither team is particularly surprising as the Dodgers have been looking at a possible big trade for weeks now and the Mariners have had Price on their radar since Spring Training. Of course, none of this means there will for sure be a deal made, but the bottom line is that one of the two teams — if not both — will make a hard ans ridiculously serious push to land Price at the last minute and given how much they’ve struck out this far, chances are that team is Seattle.
