The season where the Green Bay Packers won 13 straight games and finished 15-1 seems long ago, but it wasn’t (only 2011). They keep getting bitten by the injury bug, but the Packers have not lost most of their talent since then.

Last season, their franchise quarterback Aaron Rodgers only played in nine regular season games and that was just the tip of the iceberg. Playmakers from offense and defense alike missed time during the Packers 8-7-1 season. These names included Randall Cobb, Nick Perry, Clay Matthews, James Starks, Bryan Bulaga and John Kuhn.

Regardless of all the obstacles that the Packers faced last season, they still managed to win the NFC North Division and make it to the playoffs. Though the Pack lost to arguably the second best team in the NFL last year (the San Francisco 49ers) this year the Packers boast a strong roster that is healthy.

With injuries being a plague of the past , this year the Packers have a team that is strong enough to defeat the Seahawks, Broncos and 49ers. Here are five reasons why the Lombardi Trophy will find its way back to Title Town.
