In their preseason opener on Thursday night, the Denver Broncos are taking on the Seattle Seahawks, the same team that obliterated them this past February by 35 points in the Super Bowl. But this season, they have probably the best pass rusher in the league in DeMarcus Ware, who showed early on just how valuable he is.

Not long after the game got underway in the first quarter, Ware was able to get right into the backfield and take down the elusive Russell Wilson, something they had no shot at doing in New York back in February.

So far, you can definitely say that Ware has been worth every red cent the Broncos are paying him. You can view Ware’s first sack as a Bronco, via the guys at GIFDSports, by simply clicking here.

There was no doubt from the moment that he was brought into the organization that this was one of the best moves by any team this entire offseason, and we’re already beginning to see why.

When you take Ware’s ability and couple that with someone like the other dominant member of the linebacker group, Von Miller, only bad things can happen for opposing offenses.

We’ve already seen a perfect example this evening.
