Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill perfect in opening drive against Falcons, throws TD pass
By Jack Crosby
Whenever anyone talks about the progression anymore of the Miami Dolphins, the majority of the focus is on quarterback Ryan Tannehill and how he is coming along. Well on Friday night, he and the Dolphins took the field in Atlanta for their first preseason game of the year, and Tannehill wasted no time in showing everyone just how good he can be.

In what will more than likely be his only drive of the game, Tannehill led the team on a 10-play, 73-yard drive that chewed up over four minutes. In the drive, Tannehill was a perfect 6-for-6, which included the six-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Gibson.
Now that is exactly what people are looking for out of Tannehill. On that drive, he look poised and perfectly in command of his offense, something that he hasn’t really looked as in the past few years.
There are some that believe the Dolphins could begin to challenge for the AFC East crown this season, and if Tannehill can play the majority of his snaps like he played in that opening drive on Friday night, then this team will be in good shape to reach that goal, ultimately.
