The Philadelphia Eagles and Chip Kelly made quite the interesting draft pick this past May when they selected one of Kelly’s former players, Oregon speedster Josh Huff. There were a lot of questions surrounding whether or not Huff would be able to translate his game to the next level, although he may have answered that in his debut Friday night against the Chicago Bears with an amazing special teams play.

With the scored tied at 14 late in the second quarter, Huff went back deep to return the kick, and just like his former teammate De’Anthony Thomas did in his debut Thursday night with the Chiefs, Huff electrified the crowd in attendance as he took that ball 102 yards the other way for the go-ahead score.

Boy, for all of the questions surrounding the Oregon rookies that are coming out, they’re certainly making a lot of people feel very silly, very early on in their careers. On Thursday, Thomas made his debut with the Chiefs and took a punt back 80 yards for a score, and now Huff pulls this off in his Eagles debut.
This year in the NFL could end up being the year of Oregon rookies, the way things are getting started here in 2014.
