It looks like that brawl involving Pittsburgh Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey won’t go away. Pouncey will face charges while his brother likely won’t.
From the Miami Herald:
"Personal injury attorney Marwan Porter said police have indicated that Pouncey, a center for the Pittsburgh Steelers, will be charged with misdemeanor battery.Dolphins lineman Mike Pouncey, who was with his twin brother at Cameo nightclub the morning of July 12, will apparently not be charged in the incident."
In a not so surprising move, Pouncey’s attorney is downplaying it and contradicting the reported charges, while maintaining that there is no case against his clients.
“Until such time, no charges can be formally filed against either of my clients,” attorney Jeff Ostrow, who represents the Pounceys, told the Miami Herald. “From what we’ve discovered, the evidence supporting the battery claims is flimsy, at best.”
Three people were left injured from the July 12 brawl at Cameo nightclub, and one of them contends Maurkice punched him in the face.
