Green Bay Packers inactives: Aaron Rodgers, Eddie Lacy, Jordy Nelson ruled out vs. Tennessee Titans
By Sam Richmond
Those hoping to see some of the key figures of the Green Bay Packers’ high-flying offense in their first preseason game versus the Tennessee Titans on Saturday are out of luck. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, wide receiver Jordy Nelson and running back Eddie Lacy will be sitting this one out.
It’s a tough break for the fans that are planning on watching the game, but it’s hard to blame the Packers for being cautious.

It’s not as if any of these three guys have anything to prove during preseason play and they are each so integral to the team’s success; it makes sense why Green Bay would play it safe here.
As Koob notes, Matt Flynn will get the start at quarterback tonight. Flynn threw for 1,392 yards and eight touchdowns this past season for the Packers.
Rodgers threw for 2,536 yards and 17 touchdowns last year in an injury-plagued season. Lacy starred as a rookie and rushed for 1,178 yards and 11 touchdowns, while Nelson caught 85 passes for 1,314 yards and eight touchdowns.
Opening kickoff for the preseason battle comes at 8:00 ET.
