The Indiana Pacers aren’t really sure what they want to do with center Roy Hibbert, as there have been rumors of him being traded and then no rumors at all about his future.

More from Detroit Pistons

With the NBA season right around the corner, the Roy Hibbert trade rumors are back, and this time the Detroit Pistons seem to be involved with the matter. According to Detroit radio host Matt Dery, the Pistons have been contacted by the Indiana Pacers about a Roy Hibbert trade that would send the maxed out big man to Detroit.

It’s unclear what the parameters of the trade would be, but it’s likely that the trade would involve embattled big man Greg Monroe, who has been unable to figure out anything with his restricted free agency status with the Pistons. With no resolution in sight, the Pistons acquiring Hibbert would be amazing for a team that seems to be just one piece away from being a true contender in the East.

We will see how serious this rumor is, but if the Pacers are calling the Pistons about a Hibbert trade, Detroit would be foolish to not listen.
