The Houston Texans opened up their preseason on Saturday against the Arizona Cardinals, and needless to say, the offense did not look good. Okay, that could be an understatement as, throughout the entire exhibition, the team did not score one point and was only able to manage 172 yards–total.

However, new head coach Bill O’Brien could be getting a boost in that department for the team’s second preseason game on Saturday against the Atlanta Falcons as both running back Arian Foster and wide receiver Andre Johnson could be back on the field.

When asked by reporters on Sunday whether or not the two biggest offensive stars the team has, both of whom have been dealing with lingering issues, would be on the field Saturday, he did indeed confirm that there is a chance of that happening.

“There is a shot. Yep, there is a shot,” O’Brien said during his press conference on Sunday.

While many were very critical of the poor effort that the Texans offense put out there this past Saturday against the Cardinals, we’ll get a better indication of where they stand when these two are on the field. No, it doesn’t change the fact that quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was less than stellar in his debut, but it will make a bit of difference.
