Eagles’ Jeremy Maclin ‘continues to toast’ the Patriots’ Darrelle Revis in practice
By Cory Buck
Jeremy Maclin is raring to go for the Philadelphia Eagles after missing the entire 2013 regular season with a torn ACL. With DeSean Jackson gone for Washington, the team will need Maclin more than ever if they plan to defend their NFC East crown and, as always, success starts in the offseason. If success in combined practices can be relied upon, it appears Maclin is due for a big year.

Eagles beat reporter Jeff McLane from the Philadelphia Inquirer tweeted that Jeremy Maclin burned Darrelle Revis throughout combined practices between the Eagles and the New England Patriots.
Apparently the reporters did catch that because here we are. While it wouldn’t be fair to read too much into some practice reps, it’s worth noting that Revis has reportedly looked slower than usual in camp. There could be some lingering issues with his repaired knee ligaments or it could be a separate undisclosed injury.
For now anyways, Eagles fans can take heart in seeing one of their best receivers doing his thing against one of the best cornerbacks in the game.
