More from Little League World Series

Each and every year this event seems to get bigger and bigger, and this year should be no different. It’s really no surprise that it keeps drawing attention, seeing as there are a lot of people that consider this one of the more exciting sporting events to watch play out every year in national television.

That’s another thing that makes this tournament great, and that’s the fact that these young boys and girls get the opportunity to live their dreams out and play baseball in front of the entire world on TV, just like their Major League heroes that they watch every summer.

The format is the same as every year. There’s the United States side, where the winners from the various regions across the country will square off, and then there’s the international side, where the best teams from around the globe will meet. Then, in the final game, the international champion and United States champion will play for the ultimate prize of the Little League World Series championship.
