Lat season Lopez suffered a foot injury that derailed his year and set him back a bit. This year he’s looking to rebound and possibly earn a fatter contract in the offseason of 2015, but that all starts with the Nets allowing him back on the court.
According to general manager Billy King, that’s exactly what has happened as Lopez is operating with no restrictions this offseason.

The Nets need Lopez to come back strong this season as when he’s at the top of his game he’s one of the best bigs in the NBA. But he has a chronic injury problem that has plagued his career and if he goes down again, that could alter his standing with teams moving forward as there’s no coming back from an injury prone label.
