James Harden thinks he’s the best baksetball player alive

LeBron James is the best basketball player on the planet and one of the best athletes to have ever walked the earth. Don’t tell that to Houston Rockets guard James Harden though, as he’s going to have very different feelings about who the best player in the game is.

Harden talked with ESPN’s Scoop Jackson about life and other things but made sure to mention that he though he was the best player on the planet in the sport that he plays for a living.
"Scoop: Bottom line, you are on this team and a lot of players aren’t, but in your mind, who is the best basketball player alive right now?Harden: Myself.Scoop: That’s what I was about to say, “including you.” You made that sound like it was an easy answer.Harden: It is. Myself."
It’s not like Harden had many options about what to say, especially knowing Harden and the fact that he’s not one to be cordial when he doesn’t have to be — and even when he does. He’s not the best player in the game today and there are a handful of players better than he is, but the fact that Harden thinks he’s the best is one of the reasons is in the conversation as a top tier NBAer in today’s game.
