Hawk Harrelson didn’t want his pretty hair getting wet while being doused from behind during his Ice Bucket Challenge, so he wore a shower cap.

More from Chicago White Sox

We need a ruling from the Ice Bucket Challenge official international committee of wise elder administrators…shower cap during Ice Bucket Challenge, allowed or not allowed?

For all I know, Hawk wears that shower cap all the time as a precaution against his hair getting wet. You never know when a sudden downpour might happen, right Cubs grounds crew?

I guess we can give Hawk a pass for wearing the shower cap, even though I sort of suspect it violates the spirit of the whole Ice Bucket Challenge thing. Note that by the time Hawk is done being doused the cap has been peeled off his head anyway.

Nice try Hawk Harrelson, but your shower cap was substandard. It could not stand up to the sheer force of the water being dumped on your head. That shower cap needs to GRAB SOME BENCH.
