Pittsburgh Steelers’ wide receiver Antonio Brown might not necessarily look like a prototypical stud, number-one receiver in the mold of guys like Calvin Johnson or A.J. Green. That said, Brown still produces like those guys and should be set for another big season in 2014.

Standing at 5’10” and 186 pounds, Brown is coming off a huge 2013 season in which he recorded 110 catches, 1,499 yards receiving, and eight touchdowns. One might assume that the 26-year-old receiver is a “slot guy” because of his size, but that is not necessarily the case with his game, and he showed as much last season.

Besides his ability to get separation while lining up on the outside, Brown has elite ability after the catch. He has a combination of speed and agility to make guys miss and rip off some big gains with the ball in his hand.

During his team’s preseason game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night, Brown showcased a different kind of ability to stretch plays for extra yards. With some toughness and a refusal to go down, Brown broke a handful of tackles to get loose for a big gain. Check out the GIF of the play below.
