The Atlanta Hawks were not a good team last year but that can’t really be blamed on a failure to gel to together or a presence of laziness.

More from Atlanta Hawks

In fact, the Hawks were actually one of the hardest working teams last year because they made the postseason without any of their stars being fully healthy or even on the court.

Chuck Myron opines that the Atlanta Hawks could be in for a big season this year if they can remain healthy.

"Injuries derailed the Hawks last season, but with a healthy Al Horford to pair with Paul Millsap in the frontcourt, point guard Jeff Teague, and the sharpshooting Kyle Korver, they’re dangerous, particularly with plenty of flexibility for trades."

Atlanta isn’t a bad team but they looked that way last season thanks to the injuries to some of their best players. But regardless of that, the team still made the postseason and almost knocked off the No.1 seeded Indiana Pacers in seven games.

That’s a lot to build on for this season and the Hawks will have all of their stars back plus a hunger to get back to the postseason and make their mark the way they tried to last season.
