Philadelphia Eagles’ running back Henry Josey looked like he had made his mark on his team’s preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. If not for a penalty flag, he would have done that and then some.

As the second half of Thursday night’s game wore on, with reserves on both sides trying to make a big impression, Josey ripped off a 70-yard touchdown run. As if that wasn’t impressive enough on its own, Josey ran a significant chunk of the yardage with only one shoe.

Check out the GIF of Josey’s run below.

Even if the play did not count, Josey’s nice run will live on thanks to the internet and the fact that the coaching staff is surely looking for guys to make an impression.

The Eagles inked the diminutive Josey to a deal as an undrafted free agent this off-season. One supposes it was already clear that the Eagles had no objection to small, quick running backs since they had already acquired Darren Sproles this off-season.

Goodness knows Chip Kelly can create opportunities for Josey to succeed, even if those opportunities aren’t necessarily likely to come anytime soon.
