Team USA defeated Puerto Rico 112-68 in their final exhibition game Friday before the FIBA World Cup. Unfortunately for point guard Damian Lillard, he had no part in the USA victory as he never saw the court.

A Twitter user decided to take a shot on Twitter at Lillard for his lack of playing time and the 2013 Rookie of the Year did not ignore it, hitting the hater back on Twitter with a hilarious response.

What a perfect response from Lillard. Despite not playing in the exhibition game, Lillard is at the height of his profession and there’s nothing embarrassing about his DNP.

A different user made a similar joke on Twitter Saturday and Lillard didn’t let this one go either.

Lillard was one of four players to be cut on Friday as Team USA chopped its roster down to the maximum 12 players they can bring to the World Cup, which begins August 30 in Spain. Gordon Hayward, Kyle Korver and Chandler Parsons were the other three cuts.

Lillard averaged 20.7 points, 5.6 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game this past season with the Portland Trail Blazers.
