The Washington Redskins are looking to make a huge turnaround in 2014 from the miserable campaign they endured last year. While a lot of the focus on this offense is on Robert Griffin III, the key to this whole scheme working may very well be the performance of running back Alfred Morris.

And on Saturday night in the team’s third preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens, Morris showed exactly why he is so valuable to this team.

Watch in the video below as Morris rips off a nice 19-yard run through the middle early on, shredding the vaunted Ravens defense in the process.

It’s easy to understand how all of the focus can be on Griffin, but sometimes it seems that people fail to realize that Morris, and the way he performs, are equally as important to this team and how far they can go in 2014.

This young man burst onto the scene with Griffin in 2012 as an undrafted rookie and has been dominating the scene ever since. More of this is 2014, coupled with Griffin potentially returning to form, could mean a good turnaround for the Redskins when this year is all said and done.
