Report: B.J. Raji suffered torn bicep in preseason action
By Hayden Kane
The Green Bay Packers have seen some inconsistency on the defensive side of the ball the last few seasons. Besides inconsistent performances from certain players, those issues have resulted from injuries to key players.
With one game left on their preseason slate, it looks like the Packers have already sustained another injury on that side of the ball. From Ian Rapoport:
Raji is coming off a season in which he played in 16 games, recording 17 tackles. He did not necessarily look like the disruptive force that he is capable of being, however, which is why the Packers were able to re-sign him this past off-season to a one-year deal at just $1.4 million (per Spotrac.com).

The Packers will wait on the results of tests to see the extent of the injury and to determine how long they will be without his services. As for their defensive scheme, they will now shift their focus to alternatives to continue to improve on that side of the ball.
