The NFL regular season is just around the corner and that means teams around the country are releasing players in order to make it to the roster limit. The roster cuts have the teams set at a 75 man cap today, and 53 by Saturday.
Troy Vincent, former NFL cornerback and current NFL executive vice president of football operations, broke down the entire NFL roster reduction process on Twitter today to explain to football fans exactly what goes down:

The NFL is a business first, so unfortunately a plethora of athletes will be out of a job by the end of this week. It is nice to know that the NFL has a haven for the released players to help them move on from life away from football.
