As the saying goes, you only get one chance to make a first impression. Such is the case when you are the West Virginia Mountaineers and you get a shot at the mighty Alabama Crimson Tide.

It means you’ve got to pull out all the stops, whether that’s talking about Nick Saban’s daughter and you’re first kiss (Clint Trickett) or if it is pulling out a uniform look that will draw attention to yourselves. After all, this is the one chance to get most of the college football world watching your team play.
On Wednesday, it was revealed that West Virginia is going to go full white-out for the season opener against Alabama in the Georgia Dome.
It’s not a completely new look for the Mountaineers though, as they unveiled the all-white look ahead of last season.
West Virginia doesn’t use that uniform combination all that often though, especially since it has just 27 different uniform combinations overall. That’s what happens when you have an all-white, all-yellow, all-navy set of looks that you can mix and match among the games for the season.
Still, an all-white look for West Virginia is something that, make no bones about it, is all about being flashy to potential recruits who are going to be tuning in to this one on Saturday.
