Over the last few years, Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers have turned wide receivers into household names.
It started with Greg Jennings, who has since left for the Minnesota Vikings and has continued with Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb.
That’s why when the Packers used the 53rd-overall pick of the second round in the 2014 NFL Draft on college football’s most productive receiver, former Fresno State Bulldogs’ star Davante Adams, many thought he would be next on the list.
On Thursday, Adams will get plenty of time to show what he can do as the Packers play host to the Kansas City Chiefs in the preseason finale. Adams made the most of his opportunity early, catching a 22-yard touchdown pass from veteran quarterback Matt Flynn.
