Because Texas A&M is starting their season against South Carolina, Midnight Yell was held early Thursday morning on the steps of the South Carolina state Capitol in Columbia.
Guess what? A bunch of South Carolina fans showed up to boo and jeer the Texas A&M fans practicing their yells. And the cops had to come clear it up.
The tweets from the scene demonstrate the rowdiness of the affair. It didn’t quite descend into a Ferguson situation thankfully. But it was stupid enough.
Stupid.
