The veteran free agent market for the NBA at the moment is rather dull, but there is one name that everyone seems to be after. Ray Allen hasn’t even committed to a 19th season in the NBA yet and already he’s being linked to numerous teams around the league.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

After reports came out that he was going to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers, it seems that Ray Allen is going to be courted by a few other massive teams around the league which puts a strain on him possibly playing for Cleveland.

According to Marc Stein from ESPN.com, the San Antonio Spurs are getting on on the Ray Allen hunt and may end up making a push to sign him before the season starts.

The Spurs are new to the mix and come into play a day after the Los Angeles Clippers came out of nowhere to enter the sweepstakes as well.

It’s a three headed monster with San Antonio, Los Angeles and Cleveland all vying for Allen’s services but only one can land him and that’s assuming he even plays this year.
