Oregon Ducks get new Megatron cleats
Oregon Ducks meet Calvin Johnson. If there are two more prolific brands in the Nike football stable, you may be hard pressed to find them. Standout Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson got his own shoe last season with Nike. This year, the Oregon Ducks will sport the CJ Elite 2 in a beautiful Apple Green colorway.

The Ducks have long been known for having a closet stuffed full of uniform options. While it is easy to spot a new helmet or jersey, shoes are something that takes a more trained eye to clue in on.
Kenny Farr, Football Equipment Administrator for the University of Oregon Athletic Department, tweeted out a picture of the new cleats this morning.
While Calvin Johnson was a Georgia Tech product, there’s no reason to believe that the Ducks athletes wouldn’t be all about wearing his signature shoe.
Oregon played on Saturday night against South Dakota. A 62-13 drubbing ensued, and Marcus Mariota got his Heisman hopeful campaign started off on a great foot. Behind 267 passing yards and three scores, was 43 rushing yards and a fourth touchdown for the junior.
Oregon is set to do battle with Michigan State this weekend in what is set up to be the College Gameday Game of the Week. With Oregon having its eyes set on the National Title, and early test may be just what the Ducks need to set the voters straight when it comes to leaving them out of the top spot in the polls.
Look for the CJ Elite 2 shoes from Nike to be flying all over Autzen Stadium on Saturday night.
