Evander Kane roasts Washington Redskins football fans

As the Houston Texans laid a beating on Washington’s NFL team, the best player on Winnipeg’s NHL team took to Twitter to lay down some hot takes. Ever savvy with the social media, winger Evander Kane laid a hard troll move against those still defending Washington’s controversial team name.

It’s funny enough when anyone says your football team is allergic to the red zone. Sure, it’s an old one, but it’s still a good one. However, bleeping out the increasingly controversial nickname for Washington’s football team will immediately put you in hot water with anyone in the DC area and this tweet was no different. Kane’s take prompted a string of comments that you probably don’t want to explore unless you want to think about the world coming to an end.
Evander Kane is no newcomer to social media and it’s gotten him in trouble not just with fans before, but with the media. After he signed a big extension with the Winnipeg Jets a few years ago, Kane posted photos of himself in a Las Vegas hotel room balcony making a phone call with a stack of hundreds. That didn’t go over well then, but Jets fans received this one comparatively well. Washington fans though? Well, again, peruse those gems at your own risk.
