We are two weeks into the NFL season, and already we have seen the Philadelphia Eagles mount two second half comebacks to push their record to 2-0.

In week 1 the Eagles recovered to defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars to win a game that would have been considered a terrible loss. As for week 2, a loss to the Indianapolis Colts would have surely been viewed differently.
The Colts looked like the better team in the first half, which is nothing to be ashamed of. That said, once the Eagles got their offense on track in the second half, they were able to score a bunch of points in a hurry and ultimately set themselves up for a potential game-winning drive with two minutes left.
To the surprise of nobody, the Eagles were able to drive down and get in field goal position. Colts’ head coach Chuck Pagano called a timeout to try and ice rookie kicker Cody Parkey. That did not work, and Parkey made the kick twice: once when it did not count, and once when it did to seal another Eagles’ victory.
