If there is one thing baseball players know how to do, it is celebrate. They celebrate wins and big accomplishments in a number of eccentric ways, from bubble machines in the dugout to dumping ice water on each other to throwing bubble gum and sunflower seeds.

When you are looking for a classic baseball celebration, however, look no further than the pie to the face. Each team has a guy who is assigned the task of having a pie ready for the hero of any given game. On the Baltimore Orioles, that guy is star outfielder Adam Jones.

If Jones isn’t the hero himself, he makes sure to pie the hero in the face, usually while that guy is giving his post-game interview.

The Orioles won the American League East on Tuesday night. A joyous celebration followed, of course, and in the midst of the festivities Jones got the crowd involved as he pied a number of excited Baltimore fans in the face.

In a word, that is awesome. This is awesome on Jones’ part and will be an unforgettable moment for those fans.
