Santana Moss on Richard Sherman: I hate ‘mouthy’ guys
By Bryan Rose
Seattle Seahawks defensive back Richard Sherman has caught a significant amount of grief this week as the normally outspoken defender has remained pretty quiet.

Why so mum exactly? Well, not only did his Seattle Seahawks lose on the road to the San Diego Chargers, but Sherman was caught on multiple occasions getting shook out of his shoes. Now, in fairness to the former Stanford product, he still played well as he only gave up three catches during Seattle’s loss though media has ran with the embarrassing video of Sherman getting blown by.
Much of it wouldn’t likely have been an issue had he decided to speak to the media after the game, but the Pro Bowl talent decided to avoid doing so. In turn, Richard Sherman has made himself a target for criticism. That includes former NFL wide receiver Santana Moss who suggested he hates ‘mouthy’ guys like Richard Sherman.
“It’s not even about, you know, you respect a guy when they go out and play the ball he plays,” Moss said. “I will respect anything when you go out there and you play the kind of ball, but I hate a mouthy guy. I hate a guy that talks so much to where, at the end of the day, that even when he had nothing to talk about, he still finds a way to talk. So them the guys I hate. So if there’s any guy like him, then I dislike him.”
It’s certainly a bad look on the behalf of Sherman as you can’t run away when somebody else punches you in the mouth.
