It is an exciting time for Apple fans. They’ve unveiled iOS 8, the new operating system for their mobile devices like the iPhone and iPad, and speaking of iPhones they’re releasing the iPhone 6 today.
Of course that leads to those who want to take advantage of over-eager Apple and iPhone fans. There is a photo going around tricking people into believing that there is a Wave feature that will allow them to charge their phone by putting it in the microwave for a minute and a half.
That isn’t true, and will destroy your phone so don’t try it.
Attention all idiots: iOS8 Wave is a hoax, do not put your iPhone in the microwave http://t.co/00w9Svbwsp pic.twitter.com/JrwalxPxxu

Some are setting up their friends rather cruelly.
Some fell for it.

Some seemed to be falling for it but didn’t have all the necessary pieces to the puzzle.
Most of the Tweets are people passing along the wrong information.
