Now entering his third season in the NBA, the Toronto Raptors have ballooning expectations for guard/forward Terrence Ross. Those expectations pale in comparison to Ross himself though who believes he should be among the best in the league at his position.

A former first-round pick out of Washington, Ross was forced to come off the bench during his rookie season and spent about twenty games doing the same last year before eventually cracking the starting lineup. Once he was there, Ross wasn’t going to give the spot back and he quickly emerged as one of the Toronto Raptors’ best players.
Wanting to improve his game even further this offseason, Terrence Ross decided to not only workout with teammate DeMar DeRozan but James Harden of the Houston Rockets.
“I worked out a lot with DeMar this summer, we had a lot of one-on-one workouts and a lot of workouts with James Harden, so it’s been a good summer for me,” Ross said after serving as the celebrity drawmaster for Sunday’s Ricoh Woodbine Mile horse race. “I learned a lot, especially from (DeRozan).”
It’s a pretty good resume to bite off for Ross considering DeRozan and Harden have emerged as two of the best shooting guards in the NBA.
James Johnson continues to lurk off the bench, but Terrence Ross shouldn’t have a problem helping the Toronto Raptors get back to the playoffs.
