The NFL is quickly turning into the no fun league. After fining players for really random and not so atrocious things over the years, the league is under fire for failing to get a hold of the Ray Rice domestic violence tape in a timely manner.

But eve though this would be the perfect opportunity for the league to get more lenient with their ridiculous rules, they’re desperately trying to make sure no one ever has any fun in the NFL.
According to Scott Brown from ESPN, the league has fined Pittsburgh Steelers running back LeGarrette Blount $5,512 for throwing a football into the stands on Sunday night.
Jason Worilds fined $16,537 for hit below knee of QB last Sunday. LeGarrette Blount fined $5,512 for throwing ball into stands after TD.

Basically, Blount threw the ball into the crowd and gave someone an amazing souvenir. But being the no fun league that they are, this wasn’t cool as there’s no one making a profit.
And if no one makes a profit in the NFL, then what the hell is the point of having a league that millions of people watch for escapism?
