We’ve waited some time for the much-hyped 2014 NBA Draft and after much discussion, things went exactly how we thought they would for years.
Former Kansas Jayhawks’ swingman Andrew Wiggins was the No. 1 overall pick while former Duke Blue Devils’ forward Jabari Parker went second. Former Kentucky Wildcats’ power forward Julius Randle slid to seventh and former Arizona Wildcats’ forward Aaron Gordon went fourth-overall.
Most believe Aaron Gordon is too raw to win Rookie of the Year and have looked to Jabari Parker as the favorite. Las Vegas agrees – the Milwaukee Bucks’ forward has 5/2 odds to win. He’s followed by Wiggins (15/4) and a player who would have been a rookie last year if not for a torn ACL, Philadelphia 76ers’ big man Nerlens Noel (7/1). Randle has 7/1 odds and he’s followed by Chicago Bulls’ forward Doug McDermott (9/1), Boston Celtics’ point guard Marcus Smart (12/1) and Orlando Magic point guard Elfrid Payton (15/1).
Our friends over at Bovada have been kind enough to send over their latest odds and you can find them below.
