By Mike Marteny
The San Antonio Spurs want to make sure that their fans feel like champions too.
The NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs announced that they are going to give out commemorative championship rings to all fans who attend the opening night game on October 28th vs. the Dallas Mavericks. That’s right, ALL fans.

You don’t have to be one of the first 5,000 fans. Or one of the first 10,000. Everyone who attends the home opener will get one.
The ring features the team logo on the front of the ring, with the Spurs’ regular and post season records on the left side. The right side features the Larry O’Brien with five studs commemorating the Spurs five championships. The rings are one size fits all.
The Spurs are going all-out for their home opener, which may as well double as fan appreciation night for the 2013-14 season. The pregame party in the Bud Light Courtyard is going to be decorated in a Halloween theme by a legendary haunted house in San Antonio. There will also be live music by the Spazmatics, an 80’s cover band. At halftime, the Silver Dancers will be dancing with some “scary special guests.” After the game, there will be live music in the after party, also at the Bud Light Courtyard.
The team is going to open doors to the AT&T Center a little earlier to accommodate all of the pregame festivities and fan traffic. So, if you find yourself bored on the night of October 28th, you may as well head to San Antonio and get yourself a ring! You won’t have to work as hard for it as the team did!
