We all know that Philadelphia Eagles fans can be, well, passionate. They’re passionate in their own way, and a lot of people see it as taking it too far. This past Sunday they were at it again in the stands at Lincoln Financial Field in the team’s win over the New York Giants, although the Giants fan that was the subject of the heckling may have brought some of the abuse on himself.
When you wear an opposing team’s jersey in Philadelphia, you’re beginning to ask for heckling right then and there. Trust me, I know, I have made this mistake once before when I was younger, however I quickly changed attire. One Giants fan, though, did not change the clothing, so he was therefore pelted with trash as he made his way up the stands.
Yep. Eagles fans just being Eagles fans.
As you can see in the video, he was kind of asking for it, as stated before. In a subtle way, he was egging on the trash-throwing and the Philly fans were more than happy to oblige him.
