We have now hit that point in the year where the worlds of college football and college basketball will collide. In just one month, the 2014-15 college basketball season will begin, and on Thursday, we found out what some of the coaches think about who the contenders will be with the release of the Preseason Coaches Poll.
With that being said, here is a look at the Top 10 teams in the country as we enter the 2014-15 college basketball season.
Not really shockingly, John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats get the nod as the top team in the country. After a season in which they put it all together down the stretch with a young team and advanced all the way to the national championship game, the coaches see the Wildcats as the team to beat in the nation.
Arizona lands at the No. 2 slot, just right behind their fellow Wildcats. Last season, at times, Arizona looked and played like the best team that the country had to offer. But this season, they have their eyes on claiming that title that eluded them last season.
