Darnell Dockett, who recently became the longest tenured player with the
, has been out for the season since mid-August with a knee injury.
Nothing, it seems, is wrong with his hand, though… and he’s enjoying his new role on the team as fan tormentor.
Pictured above, Dockett is reminding Oakland fans that the Cardinals’ 24-13 over the AFC West team puts them at 0-6, dead last in the NFL. Bold move, considering the game was played on the Raiders’ home turf- but, actually not that bold, when you think about it. I mean, the Raiders are 0-6. That’s like reminding the kid who failed the last math test that he’s probably not going to be valedictorian.
Personally, I like the smiley in the “0”. It adds that last little bit of insult to injury, and kind of eerily looks like the smile on Dockett’s actual face. The 33-year-old defensive lineman is a professional troll, and I respect him for it. I kind of wish I had the cajones to do something like that, although it would probably be to a Toronto Maple Leafs fan, and they’d probably smother me with one of their dozens of unwanted Dion Phaneuf jerseys. Cause, that’s how my life goes.
I don’t like to pray that players stay injured, but I like Dockett on the sidelines.
