On Tuesday, the state of Florida held their gubernatorial debate.
Former governor Charlie Crist squared off against the incumbent, Rick Scott. Crist, who served as a Republican Governor from 2007-2011 but is now running as a Democrat.
The two candidates clearly don’t like each and things became very heated. There were a variety of topics discussed, including minimum wage, the death penalty and medical marijuana, which will also be voted on November 4, 2014.
During the debate, which was moderated by CNN’s Jake Tapper, both candidates were asked about the recent troubles at Florida State involving quarterback Jameis Winston and the accusation of sexual assault from 2012 (for which he was never charged) and the way the school has handled it.

This issue is going to continue to be talked about non-stop and apparently will even be discussed among some of the most pressing issues in the state of Florida.
