Demarco Murray leads the NFL with 913 rushing yards, almost 300 yards ahead of Arian Foster in second place with 615 yards. Murray is well on pace for a 2,000 yard season, but he has to keep it up and he knows that, that’s why he’s giving his offensive line a mid season incentive gift.
Computers were waiting in the lockers of Tyron Smith, Doug Free, Zack Martin, Travis Frederick and Ron Leary after practice Wednesday. Backup Jeremy Parnell, who started last week as well as blocking tight ends were not given computers. No offense, it’s just a starting o-line gift.
Offensive lineman Zack Martin had decent praise for Demarco Murray after he was given a computer.
“It was pretty nice,” Martin said. “We just walked in and he gave them to us. It was pretty cool.”
Well that just didn’t sound sincere at all, but we’ll take it.
Depending on the size and other display options, each computer ran between $1,099 and $2,500 making for a very generous investment from Murray.
The Dallas Cowboys are looking great right now at the top of the NFL with a 6-1 record. They have a lot of work to do, this season could slip away in an instant. It’s good to see Demarco Murray doing his part to keep team chemistry flowing.
