Ever since Bret Bielema took over as the head coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks, the team has had an identity as a running squad. They might not have won a lot of games in the SEC, but they are certainly good at running the ball.
However, that doesn’t mean that they’ll completely shy away from the pass. As a matter of fact, they’ll even throw the ball with someone other than the quarterback under center. You know, like an offensive tackle.
Yes, on Saturday in the team’s game against UAB, Bielema got a little innovative by having offensive tackle Sebastian Tretola have a crack at tossing the pigskin. Not only did he toss it, but he got six points with a scoring strike.
Now that’s a new twist to this Arkansas offense that we haven’t seen yet. Maybe Bret should have broke this out a few weeks ago against Alabama and the outcome would have been a little different.
