Things got a little worse for the Bears on Sunday against the Patriots when Lamarr Houston injured himself celebrating a sack when his team is getting blown out.

More from Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears did not have the best outing on Sunday against the New England Patriots. Okay, that might be putting it lightly, seeing as the team was down 45-7 early in the third quarter. Well as if things could not get any worse, Lamarr Houston proved otherwise.

Late in the fourth quarter with his team down by over 20 points, Houston was able to penetrate the backfield and get the sack on rookie quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. Getting blasted so badly, you would think that Houston would just take his added statistic and just walk back to his huddle.

Haha, NO!

Of course Houston had to celebrate the fact that he sacked a backup quarterback late in a game in which his team is getting blown off the field. And of course, he injured himself, Gramatica style.

Yeah, that’s about how the entire day has gone on Sunday for the Bears. Heck, that’s been their entire season thus far, for the most part.
