The Dallas Cowboys were expected to have an easy time with the Washington Redskins on Monday night.
The Cowboys have been one of the best teams in the NFL thus far this season while the Redskin have been a disaster and have been forced to turn to Colt McCoy at quarterback after Robert Griffin III was injured and Kirk Cousins struggled.
Instead, the Cowboys have had a rough time on offense with Tony Romo unable to get the Cowboys on the board in the first quarter and most of the second. The Cowboys finally struck late in the second quarter. The Cowboys drove 80 yards on eight plays capped by a five-yard touchdown toss from Tony Romo to Dez Bryant.
