At WWE Hell in a Cell this Sunday, John Cena defeated Randy Orton in the cell to earn the right to eventually face WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar. With Lesnar not rumored to appear on WWE television until 2015, many assumed that the match will be taking place at the Royal Rumble.
Well, that might not be the case after all.
The official advertisement for the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia seems to lead to the notion that Cena will not be receiving a shot at the title against Lesnar, rather he will be one of the 40 participants in the Rumble match itself.
"John Cena is the face of the WWE, and one of the most decorated wrestlers in history. He has 15 reigns as World Champion, and the two-time Rumble winner is looking to become just the second superstar in history to win the Rumble three times. The 12-year veteran has also won the United States Championship, the World Tag Team Championship, and the WWE Tag Team Championship."
This certainly is interesting, because now you have to wonder whether or not the match will be taking place at TLC. With the traditional match that was made on Monday night on RAW, we know that Cena is a little preoccupied at the Survivor Series with his team against the Authority.
What are your thoughts? Will this ad change? If not, when will Cena get his title match?
