Bill Belichick appeared on Mike & Mike and offered some critique on Mike Golic’s Bill Belichick costume.
New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick joined Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic on Mike & Mike, where Golic was dressed up as Belichick and Greenberg dressed as Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. Belichick didn’t pull any punches with the duo, jokingly calling them ‘morons’ and noting that Golic had done it all wrong when he donned a hoodie, which Belichick is famous for wearing on NFL sidelines.

At least Greenberg and Golic got off light compared to Patriots players. Mild, chuckling bemusement pales in comparison to some of the punishments Patriots players likely receive in practice when Belichick is angry. Here at least, we see Belichick summon a little bit of humor in critiquing the length of Golic’s sleeves, noting ‘you didn’t even cut the sleeves short enough.’
As Golic then joked, he’s just lucky he didn’t have to do wind sprints for poor execution. As Belichick might say, a good idea is only as good as how you execute. Here at least the ESPN talk radio duo looked pretty solid as the Patriots’ QB/coach tandem that has carried the Patriots franchise for the last 15 or so years.
Expect the Belichick hoodie to be in full effect once more when the Patriots take on the Denver Broncos in the latest highly anticipated matchup between quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.
