The Charlotte Hornets battled the New York Knicks in what could wind up being an important game regarding playoff seeding (yeah, yeah it’s too early). The Hornets were the seventh seed last season and added former
‘ guard Lance Stephenson and former
forward Marvin Williams. The Knicks finished a game out of the eighth seed.
The Knicks came up victorious in their first meeting Sunday night, defeating the Hornets behind 28 points from Carmelo Anthony. Both Anthony and Iman Shumpert made huge shots down the stretch to lead the Knicks to the victory.
However, Lance Stephenson provided the shot of the night. While the camera was on Knicks’ head coach Derek Fisher, he popped up right in front of him. It was perfect.
