Waffle House will award the winning city of the Auburn–Georgia game free food as a part of its Waffle Wager promotion.
There’s a lot on the line when Auburn and Georgia face off on Saturday night in Athens. The Tigers need a victory to keep its slim chances at a berth in the College Football Playoff alive, while the Bulldogs must win to remain in good position for an SEC East title.

Even more importantly, there are waffles up for grabs.
Waffle House announced on Tuesday that it is offering free waffles to the winning city (Athens or Auburn) of the contest.
From My Fox Atlanta:
"“Waffle House is excited to team up with our partners to bring the second annual Waffle Wager to the historic Auburn vs. Georgia rivalry,” said Waffle House CEO and President Walt Ehmer. “College football is a big tradition in the waffle nation, and we wish both teams good luck.”"
If Auburn wins, waffles, coffee and hashbrowns will be free for a day at an Auburn Waffle House. If the Bulldogs wins, waffles, coffee and hashbrowns will be free for a day at an Athens Waffle House.
This is certainly cool of Waffle House to do, especially considering the winning school will also be awarded $15,000 to its general scholarship fund.
Waffle House did a similar Waffle Wager last season for Alabama–Texas A&M.
The game is set for 7:15 p.m. ET Saturday at Sanford Stadium.
