Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love Enjoy Sharpening Imaginary Mustaches
By Josh Sanchez
Cleveland Cavliers stars Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love had an imaginary handshake that appeared to end with a joint puff. Nah, it was mustache twirling.
The “joint handshake” between Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love during the Cleveland Cavaliers win over the New Orleans Pelicans generated plenty of attention on Monday night.
Naturally, the Cavaliers had to respond.
While it definitely appeared that Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love were hittin’ the spliff, the Cavs PR team drummed up an incredible excuse.
According to the team, Irving and Love were simply pretending to “sharpen the edge” of an “imaginary mustache.”
Honestly, that may be even better than pretending to smoke joints.
If the two players really wanted facial hair that much so that they could sharpen the edge without it being perceived to be smoking a joint, there is no better excuse than No-Shave November.
If Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving were to grow out some ridiculous mustaches, it would be the best thing to happen to the NBA since we said goodbye to those godforsaken nut-hugging shorts.
