Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo took on the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight, which means he got to play against an old teammate in Kendrick Perkins, and a chance to mess with him.

What do you get when you play with a guy like Rajon Rondo who has been known to occasionally have an attitude problem? Sometimes some trash talk, maybe a little more depending on who he is. But when you used to play with him for eight years and are still good friends? I guess you get this, an innocent dribble to mess with a friend.

This comes after Perkins had some pregame comments saying that he thinks Rondo should re-sign and stay in Boston after the year. He mentioned that he thinks Rondo wants to stay, and if this dribble was any indication as to how much fun he has in Boston plus he gets to be the leader in Boston, I don’t see why he would want to leave.
You do have to love, though, how fun Rondo is to watch on the court when he’s healthy. When not injured, he’s one of the best in the game.
By the way, it seems like Rondo’s hand is fine. The Celtics would go on to lose this game, 109-94.
